Character Creation and Walk Cycle
Spring 2014 Intro to Animation
I started to develop a character for this project by writing a story outline and detailed character biography to influence the drawings of three different character concept sheets. Then, I chose one character design to finalize and created a model sheet, complete with multiple views and a full turnaround. The next goal was to animate a walk cycle that portrays the character's dominant characteristic, sneakiness; I animated a hand-drawn two-second walk cycle loop of the character in Adobe Photoshop at 12 frames per second.
