Hello all!
This is Erin, writing my first SketchBlog post. I plan to post an entry here at least once a week, to share my interests, various sketches, tips and tricks, and other inspirational art things! I can't wait to get to know my viewers, as well. Let's start off with a few simple questions so you can get to know me C:
Do you like animals?
I love all types of animals, from alligators to zebras, but my favorite animal is a coyote.
Do you play any sports?
I think walking my dog counts as a sport!

How tall are you?
Pretty short.
How old are you?
Feeling 22.
When is your birthday?
March 30th.
Do you eat meat?
I very rarely eat red meat; Instead, I prefer chicken and turkey.
What type of music do you like?
I love crappy punk music (bands like blink-182, Good Charlotte, Green Day, NoFX), metalcore with positive lyrics (The Color Morale), and alt. rock (Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against). In addition, listening to indie game soundtracks is super relaxing! My favorite OSTs right now are Firewatch, Gone Home, Oxenfree, and Entwined.
What do you do to relax?
I love to draw while listening to video game soundtracks. Walking our dog is also very relaxing.
Do you play any instruments?
I occasionally play both acoustic and electric guitar.
Where does the other sock end up?Usually it's under the dresser because our ferret stole it. (<<<Tired-out Sherlock pictured on left).
How long have you been drawing?
I remember drawing as early as kindergarten, and I've never stopped.
What originally inspired you to draw?
Back in the day, The Lion King was my favorite movie. After watching that movie multiple times a day, I began to draw animals in my free time, such as lions, and dogs with beefy lion-like shoulders (I only had one main influence at the time!). Other inspirational movies include All Dogs Go To Heaven, 101 Dalmatians, Bolt, and How To Train Your Dragon. Now, I am constantly inspired by natural scenery and the millions of different animals and people and stories to tell in the world.
What’s your worst fear?
Drowning, or disappointing my friends and clients.
Do you sing in the shower?
I sing (very poorly and very loudly) only while driving my morning commute!
Do you have a nickname/online alias?
Yes! Online, I often go by the username ChaosCanine, or Cassie Coyote. Cassie is a coyote-fied version of me that I use to represent myself online. She is an anthropomorphic coyote, walking on two legs, who dresses and acts mostly like me! Essentially, she is like a personal mascot. (Cassie pictured on the right>>>)
What is you favorite food and drink?
Give me every Italian food and Mountain Dew!
What is your zodiac sign / Chinese zodiac?
Aries / Dog.
What are your favorite TV shows?
Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and those cake competition shows on Food Network.
